BRT wildness

Yes, we've been busy...Our 2011 performing schedule was light, but amidst all of our changes and other crazy life happenings, we did accomplish a bunch musically this year!

As of this moment, Brazos River Turnaround has 3 singles and our premiere Jazz Christmas album on iTunes and CD Baby. Click the links to hear and purchase our music!!

Other wildness that has happened in our musical world:
In May, we performed our last BRT concert with our bass player, Juan Alvarado, at our farewell party for him and his family. With sad hearts we sent them oversees to discover the new world of Scotland (or the Old World, as it were!!).

Soon after, we asked our dear friend, Andy, to join us on bass. Andy, Donnie and I went to college together, So we knew we would enjoy playing together!!

Throughout the year, we have been writing new tunes, preparing for our Christmas album, and we've been tending to our homes. Brent (electric guitar) and Andy (bass) support their families with their music. Donnie (keyboards) and Paul (drums) are IT gurus. And I...well, I just sit around, eat bon bons and spend Donnie's hard earned money!! Okay, I homeschool 4 kids, run a quilting business, and occasionally make dinner!! So sometimes, life (and business travel) can get the better of us!!

But as the new year approaches, we endeavor to share our music with more and more people! And we are starting with our second Christmas album!! It will be ready sometime early December!!! That's soon, people!!! We've finished the recording...we are in the production stage!! yay!!

If you would like to know more about BRT and hear more, feel free to contact me at sally AT brazosriverturnaround DOT com!! I'd love to answer any questions, hear wonderful comments, and solve any world issues you have...okay, maybe not the world issues, but I'm here for you!!
